The Staff of The Spice of Life are all local volunteers. They work all year long to coordinate the two nights of variety each August. The expenses of the show are taken out of the proceeds and the balance is then given to Harbor House. The funds raised to fight domestic violence have reached over $225,000.00 over the past 27 years. |

This is Bonnie’s seventh year directing the show after appearing as a performer for 13 years. Bonnie is a full-time French Teacher for Kankakee High School.

Ron and Barb Guertin began directing the Spice of Life in 1983 when Barb was a member of the Junior Women’s Club. The show grew from a club project to an annual event under them. |

Assistant Director, Barbi Brewer |
|
Barbi began performing in the Spice of Life with her mom, Bonnie, as a teen and has been a regular ever since. She is pursuing a degree in Music Business at Western Illinois Univ. |

Business Director, Karen Bayer |

Karen was a long-time fan of The Spice of Life and came on staff as Business Director after the retirement of Ron & Barb Guertin. She handles all of the accounts for show and writes that check! |
